  • Successful at working with Business, Arts and Cultural organisations and various tiers of government to form strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent program development and coordination skills to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate projects/events.
  • Skilled to identify and establish sponsorship and development opportunities.
  • Community Engagement principles at the forefront when working with stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in placemaking through precinct development, planning, engagement, empowerment of communities and leveraging partnerships with internal and external stakeholders for a common goal.
  • Sensitivity in working with diverse cultures; particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait islanders, CALD communities and people with disabilities.
  • Strong Festival Experience: e.g. Port Festival, SALA, Fringe, Feast, Come Out.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to build trusting relationships and retain confidentiality.
  • A fundamental understanding of the Copyright Act, O.H.S. & W legislation and other relevant policies.
  • A valuable team member.
